Jared made my day!!  I walked into work with a package waiting for me, is there a better way to begin any day? ;) I am now the only girl in the world with 2 original drawings from a favorite artist of mine Marc Johns. 

My boyfriend, who I affectionately refer to as the Big Guy, likes to do this often.  Even when I was in Chicago he would surprise me with mid-day flowers, coffee mugs, little trinkets we saw over the weekend, random ugly dolls… all kinds of things.  This however tops the list of thoughtful gifts.  He knew how much I loved his drawings and that I would never buy them for myself. 

This is “Diamond Soda” but he also got me “The Helpful Tea Cup” :) Seeing “sold” on his website makes my eyes lite up knowing it’s me who has them :)  You can purchase other original artworks here.
