Doodle 4 Google.  Gosh I love you, Google.  Too bad the contest was for US school only, I would have really liked to see what my students could come up with. 

Speaking of Google, I’m getting really excited for their April Fools jokes.  They’re hands down my favorite.

Google’s having a contest for students K-12th to design a new “doodle” for their homepage.  The theme that they had to work with is “If I could do anything, I would…” The prizes are amazing including a $15,000 college scholorship!!  I presented the contest to my 3rd-5th graders, I got almost 60 doodles back from my crazy little artists!  Sadly, you can only submit 6 per school, so these were my picks.  It was reallllyy difficult to choose, but these 6 are in the mail and on their way to google as we speak… fingers crossed:)
