A huge sandstorm in Beijing caused the sky in Seoul to look like this pretty much all day today. I got up at 10:30 thinking it was still night time because the sky was so dark. I just thought it was another foggy- polluted day in Seoul, so Nadine and I met to for lunch and coffee. I came home to two face masks in my mail box and then heard the news of the Yellow Dust warning. I read that it’s pretty common here in the Spring, caused by China’s industrialization and deforestation, but this Yellow dust storm is supposed to be the worst of the year.
I guess I shouldn’t have taken that walk around the neighborhood.
