Turns out cabs are the same everywhere.  Even in Seoul they all talk on the phone while driving.  But to who?

I always wondered the same thing.  And then the wondering stopped one night in Seoul (which is a ridiculous coincidence) when I was out of my mind and I asked our broken-English-speaking cab driver who he was talking to.  He was very nice about it and said, “It’s my wife.”  Then I remember saying something along the lines of, “That’s awesome that you can talk to any one woman for that long.  I’d shoot someone.”  And that was the abrupt end to any conversation with the cab driver.
