So here is a picture of many chopsticks that I actually didn’t take but shows you the variety of chopsticks around Asia.  The only silver ones in the picture- coupled with a spoon are the Korean chopsticks.  As you can see they are flat unlike the others and then obviously there is the spoon.  At first them being flat was difficult but now I am a chopstick champion and I fumble around when other chopsticks are presented to me.  The spoon is there for rice, unlike other Asian cultures in Korea you use a spoon for rice.
