Meatloaf Bakery at Clark and Arlington, Chicago. 

I wanted to love this place but 8 bucks for a child size portion of meatloaf? A $30 meal (3 cupcakes and a side of veggies) for one person isn’t terrible but I was expecting to be able top site down and enjoy my mini meatloaves.  The restaurant is not really designed for that, it’s more of an order and go type place- so $30 for one person when I can’t even sit down, not my kind place. 

Not knowing this ahead of time the Big Guy and I just got 4 meatloaf cupcakes to share and a side of vegetables.  We ate them there at the unfriendly high tops tables and then went across the street to La Creperie for the experience we were looking for.

I would still suggest The Meatloaf Bakery they did have really great ideas and the meatloaves were delicious- and I will go back but when I’m looking just for a quick bite- not a sit down deal. ;)
