Sounds like a great weekend to me!!

See this…
This was my hubby and I, last night, talking a walk and genuinely smiling. Why you ask?  Because now that the bar exam is over…we can do whatever we want!!!
After spending the summer with my husb. holed-up in the library, Simon and I have decided to use this weekend to celebrate…. not in a particularly fancy or sophisticated way, but in more of a “holy smokes, this is fun!” fashion.  We are going to fit in as many cheesy, summer-break type activities as possible!
So far on the agenda:
Yankees Game (Full disclosure: it is the Sox vs. Yankees game, but as true-blue Cubs fan…I have to keep my south-side excursion on the downlow!)  Beers (plural) and hotdogs will be consumed.
Beach Party with our buddies.  I have been craving one of those old-school days of waterfront fun…I am ready to pack-the-cooler, bust out the volleyball and get my tan on!
Load up on candy and sneak our snacks into the movie “Funny people.” Dang, we are rebels!
Run the “Chicago Rock & Roll Half Marathon.”  (Oh shit.  This race is going to seriously mess with my plans of spending the next three days with a perma-buzz.  Hmmm, I am not sure I like that)
Shop!
And finally (oh god, this is embarrassing.  You can judge. I would)…
I am going to use a vacation day tomorrow, so Henry, Simon and I can go to Six Flags, Great America!!!  I know, I know…so low rent, but I don’t care!  I am going to bust out my best looney toones t-shirt* and commit to a day of cotton candy consumption and bomb-ass** rides!
* Clearly, that was a joke. I do not currently, nor plan on ever, owning any sort of cartoon inspired apparel.
**That’s right, I said Bomb-Ass.  I am thinking about bringing it back!

Sounds like a great weekend to me!!
