When I lived in Korea I used to post a weekly ‘Korean lesson’ every Wednesday.  Since coming back home to Chicago I’ve only kept it up a few times.  I’m going to try get back into the weekly Korean lessons…. why you ask?
Well yesterday I was buying a new pair of boots and I distinctly overheard “where?” in Korean.  The store owner was talking to her son* about where a pair of shoes were, that’s my guess anyway.  On my way out, I resisted the urge to say “thank you” and “good bye” in Korean and went on my way.  Next time I shop there however I’d like to be able to say something to them, hence why you’ll see weekly Korean lessons every week.
Get excited ;)
*I’m guessing it was her son, because many of the stores in Korea were family operated and owned.  Perhaps the Korean stores in Chicago are the same?
