When Maybelline introduced their new mascara, the Falsies, as a new an improved version of the Colossal- I fell for it.  Longer, thicker lashes, that look so amazing they could be fake?  Count me in. 

Well, that wasn’t effect at all.  The brush is strange, it’s really bendy and almost flat on one side.  My guess is that it’s so swipe a ton of mascara on at once then fan it out after… it doesn’t work.  The bendy brush is difficult to manage and the formula is thin.  It took me 3 or so coats just to get it to look at thick as the Colossal.

I’m typically a fan of ‘cheap’ mascara for this reason especially, you can try as many as you want without feeling terrible for dropping $28+ on a designer brand.  On that note, the Colossal in my opinion, can rival any designer mascara.  Don’t believe it?
