Thinking of Going Raw?

Well this week is a great time to ease your way into it.

Since October is around the corner and people like to start things at the beginning of the day, month, year… I say start your move to raw today.

My best suggestion is to go vegetarian for the week leading up to your raw cleanse. That way your will power is at it’s highest and when it’s time to go raw 7 days later, giving up bread, crackers, cheese won’t be as difficult.

Ease your way into it, going raw doesn’t have to be a crash diet. It’s a cleanse and the changes it has on your body and mind are phenomenal.

If you’re feeling like pushing yourself after going raw do what I’m going to do:


Sept 26- Oct 3: Vegetarian
Oct 4- Oct 11: Raw
Oct 12- Oct 19: Juice until dinner (raw)
Oct 20- Oct 23: Juice cleanse
-Now gradually work yourself back through and reintroduce whole food back into your cleanse-

You can go straight back to raw and then vegetarian and then back to a regular diet if you chose. Or you can juice until dinner, go raw, then stay raw ;)

I tried to go Raw a year ago but really
didn’t babe much success. Thinking back, the reason why is because I was unwilling to give up certain foods. However once my Ollie, Nadine showed me this site, Raw Detox Divas, I realized how beneficial going up hot wings and fresh mozzarella could be for my body.

We were talking the other day and the truth is, anything restricted is difficult. If it weren’t we’d all have amazing bodies and will power and great saving skills, we’d be rich and skinny, effortlessly.

Since that’s imaginary, push through a cleanse even if it’s only a week. You have nothing but some extra baggage to lose and all the hot wings and cheese will be right there waiting when you’re finished ;)
