You guys!
Thanks for all the kind notes and ‘likes’ on my going blonde post. I was incredibly weary about it but decided it’s now or never.
My inspiration was actually my roommate Julie. She kept saying she wanted to go red, so I agreed that if she followed though I would go blonde.
And just like that, we were sporting different hues ;)

Fasting
Was a lot more challenging this time around. I’m not sure if it’s because I worked around food or because I was just truly more hungry.
Last time I fasted for the cleanse I ate a filling meal the night before, I’m wondering if that meal actually held me through the entire next day?
Either way, I deem the fasting day of the cleanse most important. It’s what kept me...

Who started the Raw Cleanse yesterday?
I did! Well mostly. I fasted the entire day just like last time, except I also worked all day. It was incredibly difficult being around food and not being able to eat it.
Around 11pm I caved and ate a caprese salad and buffalo chicken tenders.
big FAT fail!
I’m starting again today. I went to yoga this morning but just started feeling hungry. I’m looking for ways to stay busy...

Raw Detox: Day 7
I was shocked at how easy this cleanse was. Eating raw food seemed impossible but really it was fun trying out recipes I would never normally try.
Aside from shedding a few pounds, four actually, the detox provided more important lessons I needed to learn. The most important life style change I need to make is waiting until I’m hungry to eat. Typically I’ll wake up and eat right...
Raw Detox: Breakfast
Breakfast is the key to succeeding on this detox.
